The Grub Factory: Uniting Flavors, Affordability, and Community, One Meal at a Time.

Founded in April 2021, The Grub Factory emerged with a clear vision: to offer wholesome, budget-friendly meals. Our founders, being passionate food enthusiasts, harbored a dream of sharing their experiences with a variety of cuisines with everyone at a remarkably affordable price point.

Coming to Kathmandu, it was challenging to find nutritious meals that were budget-friendly. Affordable options were only a few, limited to specific areas and times, and often sacrificed quality and cleanliness. Meanwhile, truly delicious and hygienic food came at a substantial price, making it unattainable for many.

Recognizing this gap, The Grub Factory was launched in a cloud-kitchen model, offering meals of varied cuisines starting at Rs. 90 for vegetarian options and Rs. 120 for non-vegetarian dishes. The TGF Menu brings in a variety of wholesome choices, from Rajma with Zeera Rice to Butter Chicken with Pulao Rice, catering specifically to those working in retail, offices, schools, and events.

Since inception, The Grub Factory has served over 250 customers daily, until the second wave of lockdown temporarily halted operations. However, adversity sparked innovation, leading to the launch of 4 new cuisine-specific brands, namely, The Bowl Factory, Indie Curries, Mezbaan, and Po’s Corner. Operating between 6:00 AM and 12:30 AM, TGF aims to satisfy the hunger pangs of everyone in the valley with close-to-authentic dishes at an affordable cost. Partnering with Pathao to deliver yummy food, TGF has managed to earn a commendable average rating of 4 out of 5 stars on the platforms.

Now, that we have a partnership with Bolt Mart, TGF’s offering to our valued customers includes an extensive range of grocery items alongside our delectable meals, all delivered within 45 minutes. This strategic collaboration will allow TGF to venture into the hyper-local market segment while continuing to provide delectable dishes from our cloud kitchen.
